We are gearing up for the 2016 – 2017 academic year in terms of Federal Work-Study (FWS) training and paperwork.
Training has been divided into two sections this year to improve the general understanding of the Program and to assure the College that supervisors are aware of their responsibilities as FWS supervisors. Both parts are required to be completed prior to hiring students.
Completed questionnaires will be reviewed for accuracy, and supervisors will be notified by email of the results. Supervisors with multiple incorrect answers will be contacted to talk over program regulations and procedures.
- Part Two: in person, hands-on Workday updates and instructions.
You will be able to input your requisitions and hire any of your returning students at this time if you have completed Part One, your job descriptions are in place (you need only update a job description for approval if major responsibilities change), and you have verified your student’s FWS eligibility in Informer. Please sign up for a session.
