There are still a few spots available in next week’s 9th Annual Chili Cook Off. If you have a chili recipe you know will wow your colleagues and students, deadline to signup is Tuesday, November 8th (or until slots are filled)! Email Sean Leahy to sign up at sleahy@champlain.edu.

Prizes will be awarded to the best overall, people’s choice, and vegetarian! So, if you’ve got a mean chili recipe, veggie or otherwise, enter to win! Additional details below:

On Thursday, November 10th from 3-4pm the library is happy to present the 9th Annual Library Chili Cookoff!

In order to participate you will be required to:

• Produce a medium to large sized pot of chili
• Have it at the library and hot by 2:30pm the day of the contest
• Have a container or crockpot that will keep it warm

There are categories for: People’s Choice, Judge’s Favorite, and Best Vegetarian

AND, back by popular demand, we’re also including the Fantastic Cornbread Hootenany! Bring a pan of your favorite cornbread recipe to the library by 2:30 and pit it against others for the title of Ultimate Cornbread Champion.
