01.01.2017 – Robert Caldwell joins the Institutional Advancement team as the Vice President. He comes to us from The Holderness School where he worked as the Assistant Head of School and the Chief Advancement Officer. He has a wealth of experience in overseeing external relations in an academic setting. Robert received a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from St. Lawrence University, where he was also his class valedictorian.

01.06.2017 – Marita Martin joins the Continuing Professional Studies team as a Sr. Administrative Coordinator. She will be supporting the academic and business sides of the house by owning a variety of key administrative activities including accounts payable, vendor tracking/communication, cross-divisional communication around start dates, application deadlines, event planning, and more. Marita comes to us with years of experience in critical administrative roles in the mortgage and real estate industries. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maine.

01.09.2017 – Jessica Mattera joins the Library team as a Technology Librarian where she will be responsible for ensuring there is reliable access to the library’s vast collections, both in print and online. Jessica comes to Champlain from the Worcester Public Library, where she served as a Youth Services Librarian. She has also worked in a variety of technical service roles in the Massachusetts area. Jessica obtained her Masters in Library and Information Sciences from Simmons College in 2015.

01.09.2017 – Kimberly McGlaflin joins the Enrollment Operations team as the Enrollment Operations Coordinator where she will be heavily involved in data collection and processing for the admissions process. Beyond receiving documents, Kim will be ensuring accuracy between multiple systems and aiding the communication between all the members of Admissions in CPS. Kim is a graduate of Champlain and comes to us from McGlaflin Masonry, a family business that she co-owns and runs.

01.16.2017 – Elijah Tebbetts joins the Marketing and Web Services team as a Web Production Specialist. In this role, he will edit our existing webpages, create new sections and pages, implement improvements to
enhance user experiences, support user training with microsites, blogs, and guides, as well as conduct ongoing quality assurance analysis. Elijah is a fresh Champlain College graduate with a degree in Computer
Science and Innovation and a specialization in Software Engineering. He was originally hired by the Marketing department during his first year at Champlain and worked with them every semester as a Web Production student worker. He was also a lead developer on the soon-to-be-launched Career Collaborative Microsite.

01.16.2017 – Sarah Camille Wilson joins the Library team as a Circulation Coordinator where she will oversee the library facility and circulation systems, carry out library projects, and supervise a team of 40 student employees. Sarah comes to us from New York City with extensive instructional experience and several years of experience working in a circulation department at an academic library. She is also a professional ceramist and received a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Ceramics in 2007 from Maine College of Art, and her Masters in Fine Arts from Syracuse University in 2013 (with minors in Drawing and Art History).
