Memorial Day Hours (Eastwood): Our Eastwood Drive South Burlington location will be the only location open on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29th, from 7:00-11:00am. We will be offering our 9:00am Cardio Wave class with Manon. All other group fitness classes will be cancelled.

Adult Summer Tennis Camp Specials (Essex): Save 10% off Men’s and Women’s Summer tennis camps. Offer ends on May 31st, 2017. Women’s camps run by Tammy Azur and men’s camps run by David Gold at the Edge in Essex. All camps are designed to tune up your technical and tactical play through active drills and structured point play.
Adult Beginner – Learn to Play Tennis (Essex): Summer sessions start June 19th. This is a progressive program that is designed to teach you all the skills of tennis and get you playing points within a few weeks. Sign up at the front desk for these 4 week sessions at a reduced introductory rate. Beginners must enroll in Tennis 1 before taking Tennis 2. Players may enroll in Tennis 2 if they have prior play experience. Meets on Mondays from 6:30-7:30pm at the Edge in Essex. Fees: $60 for members, $80 for non-members.
Tennis 1: June 19th – July 17th (skip 7/3)
Tennis 2: July 24th – August 14th
College Students (all locations): Current members can add their full time college student onto their membership for the summer. Fee is $75 plus tax per student, May-August 31st. For more information, email
Intervale Food Hub (Williston & Essex): Intervale Food Hub delivers Vermont vegetables, fruit, dairy, meat, and more to the EDGE Williston and Essex locations every week! They offer local, sustainably grown food from more than 30 Vermont farmers, with plenty of recipes and meal plans to make life easy. Sign up for the Summer season and enjoy weekly deliveries from June-October. Summer deliveries start the week of June 5th and run through the last week of October. Aquatic Group Exercise Schedule Updates (Essex): We are shifting instructors for our Aqua Group Fitness! Coming in May, Shanna will be teaching the 5:45am Cup of Joe class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and Makeey has taken over Shanna’s Aqua Fit classes on Mondays and Thursdays at 5:30pm. Personal Training Change (All locations): Effective June 1, EDGE personal training will be restructuring our packages and moving all sales to an EFT monthly model. Tri-Athlete Swim Clinic (Eastwood): A swim clinic designed for athletes looking to improve their swimming efficiency, endurance, and confidence in the water. Coach Maria Cimonetti will lead you through twice a week workouts which include: stroke technique instruction and drill work, endurance training, pacing and speed sets, as well as triathlon specific swim skills. 10 or 5 punch pass options available. Lululemon Running Group with Jamie Sheahan: Join Jamie Sheahan for her running group every Thursday at 5:30pm, leaving from Lululemon on Church Street! Summer Junior Grand Prix (W. Twin Oaks): On June 10-11, The Edge at W. Twin Oaks will host a Vermont Junior Grand Prix with competition to include boy’s and girl’s singles in 10 & under, 12 & under, 14 & under, 16 & under, and 18 & under divisions. Entry deadline is end of the day on Wednesday, June 7th. Cost for the event is $20, with an extra $10 for each additional draw entered. Camp EDGE OCR (W. Twin Oaks): Join us the weeks of July 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st for obstacle course racing, swimming, hip/hop dancing (full day), yoga (full day), tennis (full day), and healthy snack making (full day) with our Registered Dietitian. Half and Full Day options.
Half Day: 8:30am-12:30pm – $250 per week
Full Day: 8:30am-5:00pm – $350 per week

Summer Tennis Camp (Essex): Smaller courts, shorter racquets, and balls that bounce lower. Now, it’s easier for kids to play the game and develop a love for the sport right from the start!
Orange Ball Camps – Ages 6-8*: Balls bounce 50% slower than regular balls so kids can hit the ball at the right height using the correct stroke. The slower speed means more success for younger children, making their experience positive and fun. All levels welcome. Camps run 8:30am-12:30pm, Monday through Friday. Weeks offered: June 26-30, July 5-7 (3 days), July 17-21, August 7-11.
*Make it a full day camp by enrolling in Camp Edge for the afternoon for an extra $75 for members and $80 for nonmembers.
Green Ball Camps – Ages 9-11: Balls bounce 25% slower than regular balls but look like a traditional tennis ball. Kids have longer rallies and hit more balls during game play. More success, confidence, and lots of fun! All levels welcome. Camps run 8:30am-12:30pm, Monday through Friday. Weeks offered: June 19-23, July 5-7 (3 days), July 10-14, July 31-August 4, August 14-18. Camp fees: 5 Day week – $200 for members, $250 for nonmembers. 3 Day Week – $120 for members, $150 for nonmembers.

Afternoon Competitive Camps – Ages 12-18: Offered every week from 1-5pmstarting June 19th through August 18th. This camp is for the intermediate to advanced player who is motivated to improve his or her game. Players in this camp will be enrolled on the summer team including practices and weekly match play for the weeks they attend at no extra charge. Fees: $275 for members, $325 for nonmembers per week.

Junior Tennis Camp: 9:30am-1:30pm. Join us at W. Twin Oaks for tennis drills and games from 9:00am-noon, and a supervised lunch and swim at our outdoor pool from noon-1:30pm.
Junior Tennis Team: Join us for practice twice a week, with match play on Fridays!
Tour Camp: Join us MondayFriday, from 12:30pm-5:30pm, for tennis instruction, match play, workouts and fun! Available for ages 13-18.

Community Events
Special Olympics – Seeking Volunteers!: The Special Olympics are looking for volunteers for this year’s games on June 3rd and 4th at the University of Vermont. This is a great opportunity for individuals and groups involved in fitness and athletics. We are in particular need of basketball players who can ref games (certification not required), but we also have many opportunities that don’t require any experience. Humane Society of Chittenden County’s 23rd Annual Walk for the Animals and 5K Doggie Fun Run: Every animal deserves a second chance! Grab your leash and your sneakers to walk or run for the most deserving, loving beings we know: our companion animals! The Humane Society of Chittenden County finds homes for nearly 1,000 homeless animals each year. Join us for HSCC’s 23rd Annual Walk for the Animals and 5K Doggie Fun Run on Sunday, June 11 from 8:00am-11:00am at Veteran’s Memorial (FKA Dorset) Park in South Burlington. Enter as an individual or join a team to partake in Vermont’s largest dog-friendly event. There will be food, contests, prizes and more!
