– Classes are busy this time of year! Please remember to sign up ahead of time for all Indoor Cycling classes, including Virtual.
– Members are encouraged to use the locker rooms. No bags, coats, outdoor shoes, boots, etc. are permitted in our studios. By leaving outdoor shoes outside the studio and in the locker rooms, we can keep the studios free of water, salt, sand, etc. Most importantly, it is SAFER for all!

Les Mills Smart Start: New to Group Fitness or intimidated by the classes? DON’T BE! With our Les Mills Smart Start Program, we encourage those new to Group Fitness classes to go easy on yourself and start slow. If you’re heading into a class, you don’t have to stay for the whole workout. Give the first few tracks a go, and build up from there. Frequency before intensity!
NEW! Cardio Tennis (W. Twin Oaks): Cardio Tennis is a high energy class that combines tennis with cardiovascular exercise. This is the ultimate full body workout that burns calories in a fun group environment and is open to all ages and abilities. Class is 12:00pm on Thursdays – $7 for members, $10 for non-members.
FREE Complimentary Fitness Consultation (All locations): This is the perfect time of year to check in with a personal trainer at your favorite EDGE location for a Complimentary Fitness Consultation. Our consultation is an hour long and covers your exercise history, where you are now, and where you want to go. Contact the Fitness Director at your location with days and times that work best for you and we will get you on the books before or right after the holidays.
Personal Training (All locations): Did you know the Personal Training Department has over 15 fitness related specialties to help you become a stronger and better you? Did you know our Certified Personal Trainer, Julia Icone, is a Master Swimmer and would love to get you ready for your next swimming or triathlon event? Or that Senior Personal Trainer, Jason Crosby, is a power lifter and would love to help you get stronger at picking up heavy things? Each Personal Trainer at The EDGE has a specialty, so by going through our Fitness Consultation or speaking with your favorite site’s Fitness Director, we can help you find the right fit for your needs. On a budget? We now offer Personal Training sessions at $40, $50 or $60 an hour.

OutRival Racing with Courtney Kutler: New Year, New Goals! Need some motivation through these cold winter months? Want to boost fitness, gain confidence, run your first race, try a triathlon, race a new distance, or set a new personal best time? Everyone’s goals are different, and Courtney has the skills to help you reach your potential! She offers a wide variety of training options, including both Personal and Group Running and Triathlon coaching.

Jericho Café & Tavern Tennis Championships (Essex): In its 23rd year, the JCAT offers competitive play over two weekends in the divisions listed below. Food is catered by the Jericho Café & Tavern and all players receive t-shirts. Register to play or just come to watch some great tennis during this one of a kind tournament event.
January 26-28, 2018 – Men’s Singles & Women’s Doubles
February 16-18, 2018 – Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles
Divisions: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, & Open
Mixed Divisions: A (7.5-8.5) & B (6.0-7.0) combined ratings
Fees: Singles – $30, Doubles – $25 per player

Adult Weekly Drop-in Clinics (Essex): Try a class for FREE in January.
Adult Development – NEW TIME, every Wednesday from 6:00-7:00pm – This class is geared for the advanced beginner to intermediate player (2.0-3.0) looking for all court drills and modified singles and doubles games. This class keeps things moving but also focuses on teaching proper technique and offers tactical instruction during game play. Try this class for FREE during the month of January. Please register prior to the class date. A minimum of three players is required to run the class.
Drop-In Drills (Formerly Cardio Tennis) – meets on Thursdays from 6:00-7:30pm. This class is designed for the intermediate to advanced player (3.5 & up) and offers fast paced drills and games for 90 minutes. This is not an instructional based class and is designed for you to get a great workout on the court while hitting a variety of all court shorts. Players can expect fast-paced singles and doubles simulated games and drills that are competitive and fun. Try this class for FREE during the month of January. Please register prior to the class date. A minimum of three players is required to run this class.
