New Employees in March

3.21.2018 – Katy DelGreco joined the People Center team as Talent and Engagement Coordinator. This is an integral role in supporting People Center team success by providing excellent customer service to faculty, staff and students, supporting the delivery of high quality human resource services, project coordination and ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the People Center. Katy will be the forward face of the People Center coordinating communications, planning and executing events, facilitating the onbarding process for new hires, answering questions and supporting the team! Katy is a graduate of St. Michael’s College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She completed an HR internship at The Langham in Auckland, New Zealand and comes to Champlain with experience in marketing, event planning, and public relations.

3.21.2018 – Courtney Cioffredi joined the Counseling and Accommodation Center as the Associate Director of Accessibility Services.This is an inaugural role and Courtney will fulfill the role of the 504/ADA coordinator for the College. Courtney most recently was the ADA Coordinator at Middlebury College and prior to that she was the ADA/504 Coordinator at the University of Vermont. We are thrilled that Courtney has joined us at Champlain as she brings a rich background in understanding and interpretation of the American Disabilities Act specifically and how it relates to Higher Education. This new position will be a key partner in helping the college advance both accommodations and awareness education in the organization.

3.26.2018 – Amy Eastman joined the Registrar Office as Senior Academic Specialist. In this position, she will work with the Academic Divisions to ensure student success and timely graduation. Amy comes to Champlain all the way from Michigan with an MA in Counseling from Eastern Michigan University and a Limited License for Professional Counselor (LLPC). She also holds several higher education professional memberships.

3.26.2018 – AnneMare DeFreest joined the Cooperrider Center for Appreciative Inquiry as Managing Director. In this position, AnneMarie will be leading the business operations of the Center, including overseeing our applied learning practice, new business development, and helping to grow the Center both on campus and globally. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Positive Organization Development from Champlain College and a Journalism degree from Emerson College. In 2016, AnneMarie was named “Person of the Year” for the Mad River Valley. After successfully growing her business as owner of the Round Barn Inn, she sold the Inn and continues to serve select clients and does volunteer work at the UVM Medical Center, striving to bring strengths-based, client-centered practices to healthcare systems.
