The Community Sailing Center offers a variety of learn-to-sail programs on the Burlington waterfront designed to teach adults and kids as young as 6 how to sail in a supportive, fun, and safety-focused environment. Each class features plenty of hands-on coaching, teamwork, and chances to learn more about our role as stewards of Lake Champlain. There are also opportunities for private and small group instruction, racing, corporate outings, and more – truly something for everyone!
This summer’s camps include Little Guppies for ages 6-7, Level 1 and Level 2 sailing for ages 8-15, Level 3 sailing for ages 11-16, Junior Big Boat sailing for ages 12-16, Racing & Performance sailing for ages 11-16, and Junior Instructor Training for ages 15-18.

The CSC is offering two-hour sailing experiences on our keelboats during the week of the 4th of July. Our certified US Sailing instructor will lead you and your family on a memorable cruise around Burlington Bay, teaching you the basics of sailing as you check out Burlington from the water.
